PCLFC Field Trip — Steinhardt Gardens, November 1
The Steinhardt Property, more than 56 acres of beautiful gardens, a hillside with more than 250 different species of Japanese Maples with it’s pine needle covered paths, water flowing through under red and moss covered bridges, over rocks down to the pond, a large (several acres) enclosed aviary, an array of exotic animals, is open to the public as a fund raiser for the Garden Conservancy on Sunday November 1st from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Hopefully the Japanese Maples will be in their total splendor. It is always difficult to decide which Sunday they will probably be at their best. Regardless, even in the rain, it is wonderful to walk through this property.
When: Sunday, November 1, 10:00a - 4:00p
Where: 433 Croton Lake Road in Mt. Kisco, NY., 10549
What to shoot: Foliage landscapes, stunning red japanese maples, exotic animals
Entrance Fee: $6 donation to the Garden Conservancy

Hope you can join us on this photo shoot. We had set the meeting time to be 2:00 last year, but there is so much to see and photograph, a couple of hours did not do this place justice. So come early, and stay all day…you’re sure to find something worthwhile.
