Our next meeting is a competition night, Wednesday, December 2.

Digital Image Submission for this competition is closed.

Print submissions are accepted until 7:15 pm the evening of the competition.  The meeting will begin promptly at 7:30 pm.

LISA CUSCUNA

Lisa studied photography at The Cooper Union in New York

After a year of photography in South America, she worked in New York as a professional printer of black and white photography.

She then moved into the audio visual field where she designed multimedia shows for corporations and the Broadway stage for over 25 years.  She eventually started designing multi-monitor video installations in museums around the world, such as The International Olympic Museum in Lausanne Switzerland, The George Bush Presidential Library in Texas, The Petronas Discovery Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and The American Museum of Natural History in New York.

Currently, Lisa is an art photographer selling her work.

RICK PROKOP

Rick is currently a member of the Scarsdale Art Association, the Art Society of Old Greenwich, and is a former member of the Mamaroneck Artist’s Guild.  He has studied portrait photography with Didier Dorot and b&w printing with Joel Cipes.

Rick received a B.F.A. degree from SUNY Purchase in Piano Performance in 1975.  Since 1981, he has been a faculty member at The Music Conservatory of Westchester in White Plains, NY where he teaches jazz/classical piano.  He is also the author of  "Piano Power, A Breakthrough Approach to Improving Your Technique."

He has received numerable awards on shows in Westchester and Fairfield counties.  Please see his website at http://prokopgallery.com.

 

MAMTA RANA

Mamta qualified as an Interior Designer from Sir JJ Schol of Art, Mumbai, India.  She went on to do a Diploma in New Media Design from the Media Design School, Auckland, New Zealand, and a Certificate in Computer Graphic Design from the Auckland University of Technology, Auckland, New Zealand, where she was invited to teach Graphic Design, and was a photographer for the University’s special events and graduations.

She currently has her own business in Graphic and Web Design in Rye, NY, specializing in corporate identity design and print media design.  Mamta also works at A I Friedman, Port Chester as a Consultant in their Custom (Picture) Framing Department.  She is a hobby/amateur photographer, artist (oil painting) and a supporter of Ceramic Arts.  Mamta’s passion lies in dancing the Argentine Tango and all the Latin/Ballroom dances.  She has performed the Argentine Tango at the Smith’s Dance Shool’s Broadway Showcase with Maestro, Carlos Sampelayo.

Mamta has exhibited her paintings at the Rye Arts Center Member’s Show, and took part in a multimedia show exhibiting one-of-a-kind wooden jigsaw puzzles (along with a ceramic artist and a silk painter).
